Our Cottages
Our 25 cottages blend coastal charm with comfort, offering sea views, garden serenity, or rustic Xhosa-style rondavels. Designed for relaxation, they feature en-suite bathrooms, shared verandas, and family-friendly options—all just steps from the beach.
SEA-FACING
We have 7 sea-facing cottages consisting of 6 double-roomed cottages and 1 single-roomed cottage.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. In the double cottages, one room has a king-size bed and the other room has 2 single beds.
Four of the sea-facing cottages have interleading doors, making them ideal for families with small children.
Each cottage has a veranda with a table and chairs. The distance between the cottages and the main hotel building varies between 30 and 80 meters.
GARDEN
The garden cottages are situated behind the sea-facing cottages and consist of 6 double-roomed cottages and 5 Xhosa-styled rondavels.
Three of the garden cottages have interleading doors, which are suitable for families with small children.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower and has a queen-size bed or 2 single beds.
RUSTIC
The rustic cottages are set behind the garden cottages. There are 4 Xhosa rondavels and a long cottage with 5 rooms.
All rooms are en-suite but 2 of the rondavels only have a bathroom with a shower.
All rooms either have a queen bed or 2 single beds.

Nestled along the breathtaking Transkei coastline, our hotel offers a peaceful retreat for up to 80 guests. With 25 charming cottages designed in a classic “fishermen’s cottage” style, you can choose between sea-facing accommodations with stunning ocean views or garden cottages tucked away in a lush, tranquil setting. For a more traditional experience, our thatched Xhosa-style rondavels provide natural cooling in summer and warmth in winter.
Just steps from the beach and overlooking a unique 9-hole mashie golf course, our accommodation is designed for relaxation and simplicity. Rooms are serviced daily, complete with fresh linen, in-room tea and coffee, and towels changed every third day. While we don’t offer TVs or air conditioning, a TV is available in the main hotel lounge for communal enjoyment.
For your comfort, drinking water is provided, and bottled water is available for purchase. Whether you’re here for adventure, family time, or a quiet seaside escape, our variety of Sea-Facing, Garden, and Rustic cottages ensure a perfect stay for every guest.
